Administration of Therapies

All treatments last for one hour.

All treatments are charged at £40 per session. All consultations are charged at £30

As with all therapies a diagnosis must first be devised for each individual case. At MCCM we take great care to correctly ascertain the nature of a problem in order to draw up a personal treatment plan.

Some treatments, namely Acupuncture and Therapeutic Massage, require an hour long consultation to be undertaken immediately prior to treatment. During the consultation the therapist will ask many questions in order to make a diagnosis incorporating the ideologies and methodologies of traditional Chineese medicine. A treatment plan will then be agreed between the therapist and patient. It is therefore necessary that two hours must be made free for an initial treatment, one for the consultation and then another for the actual treatment

Other treatments require less stringent diagnosis as they are less hazardous. Therefore treatments such as Aromatherapy, Reiki and Crystal Healing do not require a separate session dedicated to diagnosis. Instead time will be taken from your first treatment to conduct a 'mini consultation'
